In 1993, VSAarts GA invited Robby to participate on an album featuring various artists with disabilities. Van Gogh wrote five of the ten songs on the album and performed three of them. Unbound was recorded and released in 1994. Robby co-produced the album with Donny Black. Extra thanks to Gary Shetler and Jeff Sisk for helping make this album possible. One of Van Gogh's contributions was the title song "Unbound". It marked the first time the Heisner brothers composed a song specifically for an outside project. Performed live with a full choir, the song stirred audiences with its powerful arrangement and message — never allow yourself to be held down by stereotypes and bigotries. Robby was invited to perform the song live at the Atlanta Arts Festival, accompanied by a dance troupe that choreographed a piece to the song. In 1994, Ricky and Robby performed on the National Easter Seals telethon. Later that year, they were asked to write the theme song for the upcoming 1996 Paralympic Games. The song was entitled "Rise", and was performed live at both the private and public ceremonies to unveil the Paralympic mascot BLAZE.
